Andrew Young, former Atlanta mayor, United Nations ambassador and Committee for the Olympic Games co-chair, will give a special NCSU Friends of the Library lecture, book-signing and reception, 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, NC State University's Witherspoon Student Center. Free and open to the public. Young will discuss his memoir, An Easy Burden: The Civil Rights Movement and the Transformation of America.
