UNICEF CAMPUS CHALLENGE LOGO

UNICEF has partnered with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) and the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF in a nationwide fundraising challenge on campuses  from September 5, 2008 to February 28, 2009. With your help, we're hoping  campuses will raise $150,000 by February 28, 2009, and your fundraising efforts will then be matched, dollar for dollar, by the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF.

Email uab_president@ncsu.edu for more info on how to get involved! Click the logo above and join the North Carolina State University Team to help us reach our campus goal of $20,000.

UAB is competing with campuses across the world to win the top prize:

The first place campus will have the opportunity to host UNICEF Celebrity Ambassador Alyssa Milano and others for a screening The Concert for Bangladesh Revisited with George Harrison and Friends, a 45 minute documentary about the background to the two concerts held in 1971 and which highlights exclusive interviews and contributions from former UN Secretary- General Kofi Annan, Eric Clapton, Sir Bob Geldof and others.
